How does the press check works with Luchs IV?

A test form with special measuring elements will be printed following specified standards. The measuring head of the LuchsIV device scans the special elements on the printed sheets and creates datas which can be analyzed and evaluated.

Depending of the task (print quality check for acquisition / vending or analyzing and evaluating of specific technical printing problems), there are different test jobs existing. These test plates have additional to the special measuring elements for the LuchsIV device as well other elements which can be analyzed with other measuring instruments or show problems visually.

With the help of the measurement data is it possible to evaluate the mechanical and technical condition of the press very exactly. The analyzing of the measurement data makes it possible to localize mechanical problems very accurate which have a negative influence to the printing quality.

All measurement results can be handed over to the customer as PDF or in paper form. This protocol can be, depending on the complexity of the task, a standard protocol up to a very technical and complex protocol (for example: an expertise in case of a damage or a repairing recommendation).
