What`s Luchs IV?

The register measuring system LuchsIV is the newest generation of measuring devices for a printing quality check of offset printing presses.

The printing quality is depending of different influences. Many of them can be changed by the operator, like for example the use of different blankets, inks, additives or paper qualities. 

The basement for an optimized printing quality is always a perfect condition of the printing press.  Therefor PITSID Leipzig founded and engineered in cooperation with all leading printing machine manufacturer the "LUCHS" register measurement system. This measurement device realises the exact metrological recording and analyzing of a printing press regarding for example the guidelines of BVDM and FOGRA.

You can check the fitting accuracy of the infeed, the transfer between the units, the transfer in the perfecting device, the production stability and many, many more with the help of special tools in the software of the Luchs system.
