What`s the great advantage?

All print shops are checking their standards in periodic intervals. ISO , PSO or other standards, it needs sometimes enormous efforts to realize a good and stabile printing quality. Almost nobody is checking the printing quality of the printing press itself. A bad printing quality can be "covered" sometimes with consumables or "calibrations" in the prepress, just if everything is "out of range" they realize that the printing press is responsible for the problem. A lot of time, unnecessary waste and at the end longer machine stops for repair works could be the result. To avoid such situations, we recommend periodic print quality checks to check the press status and see in advance if problems are coming up.

The big advantage of this measurement system is the accuracy, quickness and objectivity of the print quality check. The accuracy of +/- 2µm and the possibility to measure up to 12 printing units at the same time guarantees a much more exact and quicker analysis of the printing quality like every other or older measuring system on the market. A traditional analysis with a nonius and scale magnifier can never be that exact and 12 units at the same time impossible anyway. (Not even talking about the expenditure of time...)

You can print a testform with special measuring elements or you can paste the elements as well in a customers job (as you can see on the picture below). The printed sheets will be scanned with the measurement device and the data can be analyzed. The results are metrological facts. These extensive datas can be interpreted and compared with given standards (like Fogra, Brunner or GATF). You can`t just evaluate the printing quality standard, it`s as well focus on technical problems in the press and and make a punctual assigning.
